A decision on Leeds United's challenge to their 15-point deduction will be made before the end of the season after all.
At first Sir Phillip Otton, chairman of the arbitration panel, said the verdict could take three or four weeks, but that would have thrown the promotion and play-off issues into chaos.
Now the verdict will be known by May 1 at the latest - two days before the League One season is due to end.
The four-day hearing is due to end on Monday when closing summaries will be made.
