TEENAGER Bailey Peacock-Farrell will make his debut in the Leeds goal at Elland Road tonight.

The 19-year-old is set to face QPR after Marco Silvestri’s late red card in the weekend loss to Rotherham.

Peacock-Farrell was unable to come on at the New York Stadium to face the resulting penalty because Steve Evans had used all three subs.

But with Silvestri now sitting out a one-game ban, the Leeds boss will throw in the academy product against Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side.

Evans said: “He’s a young man who was going to make his debut this season anyway, so it comes earlier than planned for us.

“The supporters will see we’ve got a fine young goalkeeper trying to get in the team.

“He’s ready, he’s a confident young man, his distribution’s good and his handling’s good. He’s got all the attributes.

"It’s not the circumstances we would like but he would have played between now and the end of the season anyway."

There will be a minute’s silence before the game to remember Leeds supporters Chris Loftus and Kevin Speight on the 16th anniversary of their deaths in Istanbul.
