LEEDS United head coach Neil Redfearn admits he does not know what his future holds ahead of Saturday’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday.

Redfearn’s contract expires at the end of the season and it remains to be seen whether he will be offered a new deal.

The Whites boss, who recently saw assistant Steve Thompson sacked, is still waiting for talks with the club’s hierarchy over his own future.

But he could be forced to wait until after the final game of the season at home to Rotherham on Saturday week.

Redfearn said: “If the club feel it's better to sit down after the Rotherham game and talk then that's up to them.

“I've got no god-given right to be in charge of Leeds United. The club is far more important than me.

“Both parties have learned a lot. It’s a case of having a level-headed, adult conversation about what’s best to do.”
