Eccleshill host junior tournament
Eccleshill United are holding their first under-16 tournament on Sunday at Plumpton Park.
United's promotions officer Mark Holstead said: "There are few tournaments around for this age group and we are fortunate to have attracted teams from the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League in Silsden, Prospect Juniors and Bradford Tigers, plus some Huddersfield League outfits in Shipley, Tyersal and Churwell, all at short notice.
"Again thanks must go to Paul Jarvis for allowing us use of the pitches and facilities. It should be a successful day for Eccleshill United Junior Football club and under-16 junior football in general."
