Pudsey Juniors under-tens held the upper hand in their double header at Dudley Hill Rangers in the Garforth League.

They won their first match 3-1 at Newhall Park Primary School with goals from Liam Bell, man of the match Ryan Chadband and Reece Jones. On target for Dudley Hill was Jack Wainwright.

Connor Bailey notched twice in the second encounter as Pudsey won 2-0, defender Harris Wilcock impressing. Thomas Rollin took the plaudits for Dudley for his 100 per cent effort in both games.

Vision Juniors under-13s kept their 100 per cent record going after completing the double over Stanningley with a 3-0 win. Scorers were Jordan Buck (2) and Jay Wells.

Farsley Celtic Colts under-13s gained bragging rights after a 2-1 win against Farsley Juniors. Jack Reed's cross was slotted home by in-form Dominic Staunton to give the Colts the lead and Staunton hit his second with a far-post volley.

Colts goalkeeper Callum Hanson made some good saves before being beaten on the stroke of half-time by a good header. They spent most of the second half defending, Ryan Cliffe earning the man of the match award.

Bradford United under-11s thrashed Eccleshill United 8-1 at home in the Keybury League.

A fantastic long-range strike from Gauge Faulkner saw Bradford start in fine style after only five minutes. Eccleshill's Tom Oman equalised but the hosts regained the lead with a well-taken goal from top goal-scorer Josh Finan.

Substitute Jake Tarbotton produced a lovely through-ball for Finan to get his second after the break.

The home side ran in another five goals as Finan completed his hat-trick, Talent Ndlovu scored two goals and Faulkner added two solo goals to claim the man-of-the-match prize.

Bradford United under-tens won their fifth game in a row with a 2-0 win against Bradford Tigers as Krishan Patel scored both goals and Tyler Sheeky-Halstead received the man of the match award.

But Bradford United under-eights conceded a late winner at Gomersal/Cleckheaton Vik-ings to lose 3-2.

They fell behind twice but Mason Kirby put them level with a double strike. Gomersal gained more of a foothold but, with stout defending from Jonathon Holmes and Owen Clark covering every blade of grass, United held firm until the final five minutes when the hosts snatched the points.

Eccleshill's under-eights enjoyed a 4-1 win at local rivals Thackley thanks to some excellent defending from Levi Henderson-Lee and man of the match Josh Metcalf. Goals came from Callum Ellis, Joe Storey, Joe Powell and Sam Lomas.

Bradford United Lizards under-11s played well at Weston Lane despite going down 5-1. The hosts soon went 2-0 up but Danny Shackleton scored direct from a free-kick to pull one back before Lane added further goals.

Special mention must go to Paul Causley for going in goal in the second half for Lizards and making several good saves.

Albion Sports under-tens raced into an early lead at Eldwick through man of the match Nadeem Khan, who went on to complete a hat-trick.

Zain Mushtaq, Aaron Day and Ryan Singh added further goals as Albion ran out 6-1 winners, Conner Archer imp-ressing in particular.

Lucas Davey, who has been pushed into the left back role recently having started on the left wing, showed he hasn't lost his eye for goal during Bradford Tigers under-11s' 3-0 home win over Shipley Tigers in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League.

He scored twice, the other goal coming off the heel of a Tigers defender from a Lucas Clayden corner. Man of the match Luke Duckett, Jordan Kitching and William Gilroy shone in a dominant Tigers midfield.

Goalkeeper David Maran was the hero for Bradford Tigers under-16s in their 5-2 victory over Long Lee Rattlers. He scored an amazing goal from his own area, which came from a kick out of his hands.

Eccleshill United under-17s came back from being two goals down to finish 3-3 at Cullingworth thanks to two goals from Chris Dalton and a strike from Adam Cosheril.

United's under-16s had prolific striker Danny Crozier on the scoresheet with a double hat-trick in their 10-0 win at Shelley. Further goals from Liam Stead, Liam Holstead, Adam Romani and Ashley Walker completed the rout.

The under-15s still remain unbeaten and top of the league thanks to a fine 6-1 win at home to Bingley. Man of the match Stephen Wilkinson and Nathan Latif each scored a brace and Odunlami Oredein and Ryan Singh added to the tally.

Silsden under-12s A made it through to the semi-finals of the West Riding County FA Junior Shield, winning a dramatic penalty shoot-out at home to Wortley after the scores had finish 2-2 in extra time. Josh Brown scored a crucial spot kick before Wortley missed their final one.

Earlier, a Dylan Budge goal had been cancelled out by the visitors but Budge grabbed his second two minutes from time. However, Silsden were hit by a sucker punch in the last minute and they had to do it on penalties.
