Guiseley play-off hopes hit
Guiseley face an uphill struggle to snatch a play-off place in the UniBond Premier Division after tonight's 1-0 defeat at
relegation-threatened Leek Town.
They were beaten by a
wonder goal after 18
minutes when Anthony Danylyk struck a shot from distance.
Sean Taylforth, Aron Wilford and Jonathon Fernandez had already gone close for the visitors and the trio had further chances to equalise, Wilford having a shot cleared off the line but it was to no avail.
Guiseley are now two points off the play-offs in sixth place after fifth-placed Eastwood drew 1-1 with Worksop thanks to a late equaliser.
