Guiseley 3, Buxton 1

In the UniBond League Premier Division, Guiseley were 3-1 winners at home to Buxton Town.

Jamie Walshaw opened the scoring for the Lions when he netted an 18th-minute penalty, and he doubled the home side’s lead with a header on the stroke of half- time.

The visitors hit back early in the second half through Scott Maxfield.

Guiseley ensured they claimed all three points when Adam Muller restored their two-goal cushion with 11 minutes remaining.
