North Ferriby United 1, Guiseley 2
Guiseley kept the pressure on neighbours Bradford Park Avenue by matching their maximum-points haul from two opening games in the UniBond Premier Division.
Hosts North Ferriby caused problems but only scrambled a late consolation and by then were down to ten men.
Anthony Lloyd scored both of Guiseley’s goals, the first in the 13th minute and the second just before the hour.
Ferriby lost their skipper Paul Foot to a red card ten minutes from time but Gary Bradshaw netted a direct free-kick in the 87th minute.
