Guiseley 1 Solihull Moor 1
GUISELEY escaped relegation from the National League thanks to a last-minute goal from skipper Danny Lowe.
For the second-successive season they survived on the final day.
Lowe's goal relegated York City who drew 2-2 at home to Forest Green in the televised game.
Braintree, beaten 2-0 at Aldershot, were also relegated alongside the already doomed North Ferriby and Southport.
Guiseley's players remained on the pitch for five minutes waiting for confirmation of York's result.
This was an afternoon when the Lions put their fans through the emotional wringer.
Goalkeeper Dan Atkinson, deputising for the injured Jonny Maxted, saved an early penalty from Jack Byrne and they were outplayed for much of the game.
It was no surprise when Solihull took the lead with a 25-yard free kick from the impressive Omari Sterling.
Guiseley lived dangerously on a number of occasions and could have been further behind until skipper Lowe's late, late goal.
