GUISELEY started work on upgrading their ground this week.
The club's chief executive officer Adie Towers explained: "We currently have a B Grade but need an A Grade to play in the Conference.
"We need to increase our capacity to 4,000 or more, and are starting that process by increasing the capacity at the away end, or the railway end as it is known.
"There will also be separate toilet and catering facilities there for when we need to bring in segregation, plus additional turnstiles.
"We currently have six and we need eight, and we will also have an equipment shed at that end, plus additional terracing at the car park end.
"We will also be getting rid of some of our outbuildings, which are clearly not fit for purpose."
Meanwhile, Guiseley have rearranged their home game with Grimsby Town that was postponed on Boxing Day. It will now be played on Tuesday, February 16 with a 7.45pm kick off.
