GUISELEY manager Mark Bower is expecting his players to be switched on for the club's first live televised game.

BT Sport is broadcasting tomorrow night's Vanarama National League clash with Lincoln City at Nethermoor and it is the perfect stage for the Lions to show their pedigree.

“We’re not the biggest club at this level but there’s a tremendous atmosphere at home games, especially night-time games under the lights,” said Bower.

“Lincoln are probably the biggest club we’ve faced this season so hopefully they’ll bring a few fans and it’ll be a good atmosphere and we’ll try go about our business as usual, with a committed and good quality performance.”

The Lions certainly shouldn't be short on confidence after extending their unbeaten run to seven games with their 1-0 win at Braintree on Saturday and they may have Gavin Rothery back in contention for a place after testing his fitness with the Academy side on Monday.

Bower added: “There’s been a lot of firsts for us this season and, after our first away win, it’ll be nice for everyone to play in front of the cameras.”

“I’m sure the lads will thrive on that and it should be a good game. We can go into it with a lot of confidence but also knowing that we’ve got to put that hard work in that we have all season.

“I think the lads have been absolutely fantastic in their work ethic and professionalism – it’s been top drawer.”
