BRADFORD Park Avenue lost for the first time in six Vanarama Conference North league games at the weekend and look to bounce back at home to Chorley tomorrow night.

John Deacey's men host a Chorley side looking to climb back to the fringe of the play-off places and with their tails up after a 1-0 win at Brackley Town at the weekend.

They have spent a lot of the season in the top five but a poor run – Saturday’s win was their first in six games – has seen them drop down to eighth.

Avenue's focus will be on picking points up themselves as they could climb three places with what would be a tenth win of the campaign. Even as much as a draw would see them climb five points clear of the drop zone.

Meanwhile, Avenue's West Riding County Cup semi-final rematch at Tadcaster Albion has been arranged for next Wednesday, March 18 (7.45pm).

The original tie, which Avenue won 3-2, was ordered to be replayed by the West Riding County FA after Tadcaster complained regarding Alex Pursehouse’s eligibility for the match.

Next Tuesday's league clash at Stalybridge Celtic has been postponed as a result of the cup replay.

GUISELEY are also seeking a maximum as they host basement outfit Hyde in a swift return fixture after the sides played out a goalless draw at Ewan Fields at the weekend.

Hyde may be rock bottom but they are unbeaten in four games, however they are 16 points adrift of safety with just ten games of their season remaining.

In the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division, ALBION SPORTS head to leaders Worksop Town.
