Farsley Celtic were handed a dramatic stay of execution tonight when an eleventh hour development saw them enter administration and halt the winding-up petition due to be heard in court tomorrow.
A brief statement on the club’s website confirmed that president John Palmer and director Paul Glover met with administrators Mazars after the appropriate papers had been filed in court.
A club insider said “This means the club will survive in the short term, which is very positive news for now, but we are all aware that there is a lot of work still to do.”
