FARSLEY Celtic will be looking to climb back above Lancaster City in the Evo-Stik Division One North table on Saturday when the promotions hopefuls clash at Throstle Nest.

The Celts’ magnificent string of 12 victories came to an end with a draw at Burscough, last Saturday but Neil Parsley’s men are determined to extend their 13-game unbeaten run.

The Dolly Blues leapfrogged Farsley with a midweek win over Kendal Town to move within a point of the top five, but they have played three games more than the Celts who are three points worse off.

Farsley boss Neil Parsley said: “This will be a tough game because Lancaster are in the mix, like we are. But we remain unbeaten after last week and we came through that game unscathed so we’re ready to go again after a free midweek and some good training sessions.”

Brighouse Town will be hoping to keep their good run going as they head to Prescot Cables. Paul Quinn’s side put their poor run since Christmas behind them with a win in the last game of January and another in their first game in February, both thanks to winning goals by Danny Facey.

They endured back to back postponements after that but remain in the top half of the table and only five points off the top five .
