FARSLEY Celtic are hoping that 13 doesn't prove to be unlucky as they seek to keep their run of victories going.
The Celts head to Burscough’s Victoria Park in Evo-Stik Division One North on Saturday, knowing they will face a tough test.
The home side will be looking to consolidate their place in the play-off places, after they broke into the top five with a 2-0 home win over Kendal Town on Tuesday night.
Farsley have enjoyed a stunning 12-match winning run, and will have no fears about travelling to Burscough after thrashing second- placed Northwich Victoria 5-0.
They had a few players missing last time out but Parsley hopes to be back somewhere near to a full quota tomorrow.
The manager explained: “There was a virus going through the place last week, and it also hit me and our physio Gaz Liversedge.
“Even though we didn’t have a midweek game, we trained only once this week – last night – just to give everybody a chance to get over it."
Brighouse Town enjoyed a good win at Scarborough Athletic in midweek, and they, like Farsley, are now just four points outside the play-off places.
Town have won their last two games to bounce back from a poor spell but the victories were economical as they both came from single goals by Danny Facey, who has recently returned from injury.
