FARSLEY Celtic’s remarkable run of form continued in fine style with a 4-0 win at promotion chasing Spennymoor Town, and they will be looking for an eighth straight victory on Saturday.

Five of those wins came in Evo-Stik Division One North, and that put the Celts above Prescot Cables who visit Throstle Nest for the first game of 2016.

In their last three games – two league clashes and a League Cup tie – Neil Parsley’s side have plundered 15 goals and conceded just two.

Aaron Hardy, from the penalty spot, Lewis Sugden, Lewis Nightingale and Farsley’s man of the match Paul Walker were all on target at Spennymoor.

Lancaster provide the opposition for Brighouse Town as Paul Quinn’s men make the journey to the Dolly Blues’ Giant Axe ground.

Brighouse bounced back from a shock 5-1 home defeat to struggling Witton Albion with a 2-1 win over Scarborough Athletic on Monday.

Quinn’s side are eighth, four points outside the play-off zone but they have games in hand on three of the four clubs occupying the play-off places.

Lancaster are just as inconsistent at home as they are on the road after failing to win two-thirds of their league fixtures at Giant Axe this term.

They did snatch a point from the reverse fixture with an equaliser in the third minute of stoppage time to draw 2-2.
