FARSLEY Celtic will be looking for a seventh straight victory when they host Harrogate Railway Athletic on Boxing Day.

The Celts went into Christmas in high spirits and in 16th place in the Evo-Stik Division One North after last Saturday’s 5-2 win at Ossett Town.

Boss Neil Parsley said: “It is good to go into Christmas in a run of form as we have three important games in eight days and we want to pick points up to keep our run going.

"Aaron Hardy and Aiden Savory both missed the Ossett game through suspension so they are back in contention now.

“Injury wise we only have Neil Stevens out with a long-standing injury which looks like it could need surgery. He was due at the specialist this week so we’ll soon find out and if he does he could be out for the rest of the season.”

Brighouse Town boss Paul Quinn is looking for a reaction from his players when they travel to third-placed Ossett Albion after a chastening 5-1 home defeat to struggling Witton Albion.

Quinn said: “It came out of the blue and was uncharacteristic, but it certainly puts the emphasis on the next three games now.

“These three games in such a short spell are so important because, as a club, we need to dust ourselves down. We must prove that it was just a blip and that be ready to go again.”

Albion are ten points better off than Brighouse who have three games in hand. Last weekend’s defeat left Quinn's men seven points outside the play off zone.
