FARSLEY Celtic boss Neil Parsley spoke after last week’s narrow defeat about all the fixtures being difficult ones for a club on a run like Farsley, and Saturday’s Evo-Stik Division One North clash could not be more daunting.
Farsley are second from bottom in the table as they host Northwich Victoria, who are four points clear at the summit.
The Vics are not just unbeaten but they are the only club in the division to have a 100 per cent record.
The Celts won the corresponding fixture last season 1-0 thanks to an Aaron Hardy spot-kick – but that was when the clubs were promotion-chasing rivals.
Neighbours Brighouse Town have had a much better start this season and go into their game at Radcliffe Borough in a lofty sixth place.
Paul Quinn’s men could go third with a win as they are only two points behind current occupants Warrington Town, and the Yellows have played two games more than Brighouse.
