FARSLEY CELTIC and neighbouring rivals BRIGHOUSE TOWN warm up for their FA Cup bows on Saturday with the small matter of an Evo-Stik Division One North derby clash at Throstle Nest tonight.
The Celts have endured a difficult start to the campaign in the league and are currently fourth from bottom.
Neil Parsley’s men broke their duck with a 1-1 draw at Warrington Town, while Brighouse were easing to a 3-1 home win over Harrogate Town thanks to hat-trick hero Ernest Boafo.
Despite that win moving Paul Quinn’s side up to 11th, Farsley would go level on points with a win.
ALBION SPORTS will be high on confidence after a 4-1 home win at the weekend in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division but they face a tough trip to Barton Town tonight.
In the North West Counties top tier, SILSDEN host Padiham at the Angel Telecom Stadium, just four days before they meet again at the same venue in the FA Cup.
