Harrogate Railway Athletic 2, Farsley 4
FARSLEY earned their third Evo-Stik League victory on trot as they lifted themselves up to third in the Division One North table.
They had to wait until late in the first half to open the scoring in the derby fixture at Harrogate Railway Athletic.
The deadlock was broken just six minutes before the interval when Lewis Nightingale found Jason St Juste and he fired in.
Railway levelled soon after when Nathan Cartman slotted in under home keeper Tom Taylor. But the visitors still led at half-time after a Nightingale shot went in off the post.
Three minutes into the second period Nightingale was fouled in the area and Aaron Hardy drilled in the resulting penalty.
Marcus Edwards came on from the bench and he made Farsley’s fourth when he raced through and squared the ball for Aiden Savory.
The hosts may be at the foot of the table but they finished strongly and Alex Metcalfe netted a late consolation.
