BRIGHOUSE Town could not have dreamed of a better start to life in Evo-Stik Division One North after taking the first six points on offer.
They will face a stern test in the red-rose county on Saturday, though, as they take on Clitheroe.
The Lancashire outfit have not registered a single point from their two opening games so will be as dangerous as a wounded animal.
Town have won both their fixtures 2-1 — over the established Radcliffe Borough at home and at West Yorkshire rivals Ossett Albion.
Farsley suffered a bad defeat on the opening day, going down 3-0 at Lancaster City, but bounced back to get their season moving with three points against Ossett Town in midweek.
It was a result which will have boosted manager Neil Parsley and his men ahead of the Throstle Nest clash with Padiham, who also have three points from a possible six.
A home win would not only lift Farsley above tomorrow’s visitors but give them six points from three games, which would put a totally different complexion on their start.
