Farsley face a third consecutive game against promotion rivals in the Evo-Stik League Division One North when then travel to Ramsbottom United tomorrow.

Neil Parsley’s men earned a point from a goalless draw at second-placed Warrington Town but were then beaten 1-0 at home by leaders Curzon Ashton.

As good as Farsley were in those games, the one point from a possible six has left them needing a victory at sixth-placed Ramsbottom to ensure they remain in the play-off zone.

Parsley said: “The last two have been typical games between two sides at the top end of the league. We have done well and got no fresh injuries, so we trained hard Tuesday and last night, and we’re ready to go again.

“Ramsbottom won last week so it’s all tightened up in the play-off places and I expect this will be another tight one.”
