The gates were shut at Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch. Avenue are hoping for better luck tomorrow night at Gainsborough Trinity
Bradford Park Avenue will be hoping to get the go-ahead for their trip to Gainsborough Trinity tomorrow night after being frustrated by a home postponement due to the weather at the weekend.
Avenue did not lose any ground in Blue Square Bet North by not hosting Altrincham last Saturday so are just one place below tomorrow's hosts.
The Horsfall club are eighth, trailing Trinity by just one point, but they have played two games more as they go into a game with a lot riding on it.
Both clubs are still chasing a place in the play-offs. If Avenue win they will leapfrog their hosts and reach the 50-point barrier but should Gainsborough win they would be back into the play-off zone.
Harrogate Town are currently fifth – the last promotion play-off berth – but have played one game more than Trinity and are three points better off but crucially have a slightly inferior goal difference.
If the wintry blast holds off enough for the pitches to escape sub-zero temperatures, Farsley are also looking at a tough away game.
They are due to journey to Mossley in Evo-Stik Division One North.
Following a poor run, Farsley are just holding onto their place in the top half of the table but their Lancashire hosts are riding high in fourth.
The incentive is there for Mossley as they would go second with a win and breach the 60-point barrier in the process.
Liversedge’s home fixture against Staveley MW in the Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division has had to be rescheduled because their visitors have a Sheffield & Hallamshire County Cup tie to play.
