Eccleshill 2, Glapwell 3

The Eagles slipped to their seventh straight defeat but were unfortunate to end with nothing after taking second-placed Glapwell all the way.

Mark Nangle opened the scoring for the visitors but Ben Hardy converted a Cameron Kerin cross with a looping header for the home side's equaliser.

Two goals in 40 seconds took the game away from the Eagles. Nangle added his second - a carbon copy of his first - as he latched onto a long ball over the back four, and substitute Ashley Grayson made it 3-1.

Eccleshill did not let their heads drop and were rewarded in stoppage time when Glapwell skipper Matt Varley was adjudged to have handled a cross. United captain Chris Rosindale fired in the resulting penalty.

Andy Philp (suspended) and Stuart Waite (injured) are out of tomorrow night's West Riding County Cup trip to Bradford Park Avenue but Luke Richardson and Ryan Wood return from suspension.
