There was more bad news for Silsden as they went down 5-1 at Colne tonight in the Vodkat Premier.
Jamie Longley netted what was merely a consolation for the Cobbydalers.
In Kool Sport NCE Division One, there were vastly differing fortunes for the two local clubs as Brighouse Town stretched their lead at the top to four points with a 4-0 victory at Bottesford Town.
However, basement dwellers Eccleshill United suffered a second 2-1 away defeat on the bounce as they lost as Barton Town Old Boys. The reverse leaves the Eagles a point adrift at the foot of the table.
