Eccleshill United are still bottom of the Kool Sport Northern Counties East League Division One - but only on goal difference after a winning start for new manager Mark Senior in midweek.
Former Eagles midfielder Senior returned to the club before Christmas but had been forced to wait until Tuesday for his first game in charge.
He will be looking for a second home win on the bounce when Pontefract Collieries visit Plumpton Park on Saturday.
Ponte are a lofty seventh but the Eagles will have the wind beneath their wings.
