ALBION Sports leapt five places to fourth in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division last night after storming to a 3-0 home win over Bridlington Town.

The Lions had re-signed striker Karl Hall, and the Seychelles international started against Brid at Throstle Nest.

But it was Aran Basi who broke the deadlock when he converted a Danny Facey cross just minutes before the break.

Albion were well on their way to three points as Ferdinand Annor made it 2-0 after collecting a through ball from Omar Habeeb before outstripping two defenders.

They put the gloss on the victory in the penultimate minute when Rhys Jenkinson slotted in after Facey had put the ball on a plate for him.

There was no good news for Eccleshill United as they slumped to a second consecutive 3-2 defeat in Division One.

The Eagles raced into a 2-0 lead at home to Hall Road Rangers but it was the visitors who had the last laugh.

Sam Bradley and Luke Harrop scored within the first quarter-hour but Alex Sherwood pegged one back before the interval.

A second-half brace from Jamie Forrester won it for the visitors, and the three points took them to the top of the table.
