NEW Eccleshill United boss Sean Regan makes his home debut in the dug out on Saturday.

Regan was made manager when Mark Greaves and Hayden Lobley left by mutual consent just over a fortnight ago, but the Eagles have had two away games since.

They began Regan’s reign with a remarkable 5-5 draw at Hall Road Rangers and followed up with

a 4-2 win at lowly Lincoln Moorlands Railway last Saturday, when Luke Harrop found his scoring touch after injury.

Harrop, who was enjoying a rich vein of form before his lay off, netted twice.

The Eagles will be looking to keep Regan’s unbeaten start going, but it will be severely tested by sixth-placed Penistone Church.

Albion Sports moved up to third in the Premier Division and broke through the 40-point barrier with a midweek win over struggling Armthorpe Welfare. They travel to Rainworth Miners' Welfare.

Barton Town Old Boys were the team that Albion displaced and they host relegation-threatened Liversedge.

Thackley were frustrated by a postponement last weekend and dumped out of the West Riding County Cup by Silsden 3-2 in midweek, and they face a stern test.

The Dennyboys travel to Bridlington Town, who are one of three clubs on 39 points, snapping at Albion Sports’ heels.
