Brighouse Town were 3-1 victors at AFC Emley in their latest pre-season friendly after making the short journey to their Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One neighbours.
Sam Hewitt, Issac Baldwin and summer signing Danny Facey were on target for Town, while Danny Ryan hit the home side’s consolation.
Eccleshill United won 4-2 at Silsden as the two local clubs geared up for Saturday’s opening games in different leagues.
The Eagles were 3-0 up at half-time after goals from Andrew Cooper, Luke Harrop and Liam Bartle.
Jermaine Springer made it 4-0 before the Cobbydalers got two late penalties and converted them both.
