ALL four of the area’s clubs in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League have got byes in the first round of their 2015-16 League Cup.

The draw was announced at the league's annual meeting at Scarborough’s Royal Hotel.

The proposed constitution was verified, and both the Premier Division and Division One will be back to 22 clubs for the coming season.

The first round of the cup features just 12 of the 44 teams, and the second round is also just to whittle the numbers down to 32.

ALBION SPORTS have a home tie against Premier Division rivals Nostell MW, while LIVERSEDGE will travel to the winners of the all-First Division first-round tie between Hemsworth MW and AFC Emley.

Sports and Liversedge will be hoping to join THACKLEY and ECCLESHILL UNITED in the third round.

The member clubs also voted for play-offs to be introduced in Division One.

Three clubs will now be relegated from the Premier Division, with the Division One title winners and runners-up going up automatically, while the teams who finish from third to sixth enter the play-offs to battle it out for the last remaining promotion place.
