BRADFORD Park Avenue will be looking for some home comfort tonight as they host high-flying Stockport County in the Vanarama North.
John Deacey’s side are second bottom while their rivals are bidding for promotion.
The Hatters could displace Boston United and climb into the play-off places with a win.
Avenue are six points from safety but have six or five games in hand on all of their rivals for the dreaded drop. Avenue lost last time out in the league but all of the bottom five were beaten so no ground was conceded.
They had a confidence-boosting win earlier on Monday when they beat Tadcaster Albion to reach the final of the West Riding County Cup.
Boss John Deacey insists tiredness will not be a problem as he has a full squad available and they need match practice after being sidelined by the weather for more than a month.
Eccleshill United are also in action tonight as 12th hosts tenth in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One.
The Eagles are five points adrift of visitors Penistone Church and have also played one game more.
