All four of the local clubs in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division are in action in three matches tomorrow night.

While Brighouse Town continue their tilt for the title, Thackley host Albion Sports in a big derby, while Liversedge also have a home fixture.

Town make the short journey to Glasshoughton Welfare, looking to close the gap on the top two.

If they can get back to winning ways, Paul Quinn’s men would move to within one point of second- placed Barton Town and would still have two games in hand.

However, Town have been held to consecutive draws by the Dennyboys in midweek and Athersley Recreation on Saturday.

Thackley would pull level on points with Albion with a win at Dennyfield tomorrow but Kulwinder Sandhu’s Albion could move up to fifth place should they bank a maximum. Elsewhere, struggling Sedge host mid-table Long Eaton United.

Meanwhile Eccleshill United reached the semi-finals of the League Cup tonight with a 1-0 win at Nostell MW.

A Daniel Halowaty second-half strike separated the teams after the Eagles had been knocking on the door for most of the tie.
