BINGLEY Congs move into second spot in Division One of the Craven and District League after seeing off Sutton by 2 wickets at Beckfoot Lane in a low-scoring thriller, scraping over the line thanks to a stunning individual innings by Chris Dibb.

Sutton posted a modest 138-8 thanks to Sam Solley's 67, with Matt Roberts and Harry Greenhalgh both claiming 3-32. Dibb (70no) was the rock of the successful reply, which was badly needed when they stood 15-5.

Embsay made 210 on their trip to Bull Holme to take on leaders Barrowford.

Dave Wellock (65) and Moshin Saghir (30) were the main contributors as Karum Khan claimed 3-36. The home side were struggling on 160-7 but Shakeel Butt (64no) and Khan (23no) took them to the points as Scott Robinson claimed 3-29.

Oakworth moved joint-second after beating Hepworth & Idle by 152 runs at Westfield Lane. Joel Gallagher (46) and Drew Duffy (75) put on 116 for the first wicket then Lewis Wrathall (79) and Jack Davison (52) took the score to an impressive 321-7.

Richard Cavender (4-24) and Jack Ellis (3-43) kept a lid on the reply, which closed on 169 with Jake Sunderland (52) top scoring.

Crossflatts were just too strong for Haworth Road at Baildon Bottom, winning by 3 wickets.

Denholme crushed Ingrow away from home. The Bradford Road side rattled up 287-5 in their allotted overs with Adam Taylor scoring a super 102no and Toby Priestley 69. Ingrow were restricted to 118 as Ryan Judson (3-27) and Matt Wear (3-32) bowled well.

There was a surprise at Wilsden where the hosts accounted for Haworth by 7 wickets. The Bronte side went first and were dismissed for 99 as Chris Langley took 4-24 and Sam Mitchell 3-21. Glenn Stapleford (35no) took the Shay Gate side to the winning post.

Foulridge and Airedale are the early Division Two leaders. The former were at Cowling and saw the home side make 178 in their knock. Will Bowden (37) and Ajmal Choudhry (33) were the main contributors.

In reply, Aamir Mohammed (42) and Chris Brooker-Carey (46no) took Foulridge to the spoils by 2 wickets despite 4-30 from Choudhry.

Meanwhile, Airedale plundered 273-6 off Sandy Lane’s attack at Bradford Road. Mathew Cox scored a superb 124no to go with Asad Ejaz (41) and Nazim Hanif (39) keeping things under control.

The Greenwood Park side were undeterred and fell just 8 runs short of victory. Mohammed Ulfat (88) and Abid Sharif (64) added 126 for the eighth wicket as Lee Rickaby claimed 4-55.

At Gargrave, visitors Chatburn were hustled out 40 with Joe Wood (6-18) and Stuart Weatherill (4-20) doing the damage. Will Smith (24no) and Ted Wilman (13no) took the hosts to the winning post by 10 wickets.

Another low score occurred at Glusburn as Cononley were back in the hut for a paltry 49. The Park Field side lost one wicket achieving victory.

Matt Stowell (72) and Mark Day (30) helped Long Lee to 225-8 in the overs with Adam Cook taking 4-68. Visitors Haworth Road II replied with 161.

Bradford & Bingley III easily saw off Eldwick & Gilstead at Riddlesden, winning by 7 wickets. Will Johnston 58no, Matt Doidge (4-10) and Shahbaz Ahmed (4-25) being the main contributors.
