THE toss of the coin will return to The All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League in 2018.

It was been voted back in by clubs by 45 votes to seven at the league's annual meeting at Cleckheaton Sports Club.

Among the new rules passed was the introduction of leg-side wides for the Premier Division, only after a counter proposal to introduce it to all first-team cricket was defeated.

The rule limiting the number of advertising logos on a club's kit was removed by a vote of 26 to 21, while a proposal for noon starts for the entire season was defeated 42-10.

A rule amendment preventing overseas players from playing in second-team cricket unless they have the permission of the management board was passed 33-19.

Where a game is re-arranged or ordered to be replayed, only players eligible on the original date will be allowed to play in the new game.

Players who have not played any cricket in the current season can now be registered up to August 31 after an amendment was approved 33-17.

Non-overseas players aged under 17 will now be allowed to be loaned to another club at any point in the season provided the move is registered by noon on the day prior to the game.

Proposals to adjust over rates and amend the length of second-team games were also defeated.
