HANGING Heaton will face York in the semi-finals of the Yorkshire Cricket Premier League Play-Offs at Scarborough on Saturday.
York clinched the Hunters Yorkshire ECB Premier League North title on Saturday to secure their place in the end-of-season competition.
Great Ayton of the North Yorkshire South Durham League will face defending champions Wakefield Thornes in the other semi-final at Marton.
Both Hanging Heaton and York are competing in the play-offs for the first time and will be battling it out to secure a place in the final at Headingley on Saturday, September 23.
After beating East Bierley to secure The All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League title, Hanging Heaton skipper Gary Fellows said: "The play-off are a great challenge for us.
"Playing at Scarborough is something I always enjoyed with Yorkshire and for many of our team this will be the first time they have played at North Marine Road.
"Winning the title was a big thing for the club and now we would like to go and try and win the play-offs."
