BINGLEY Congs are through to the quarter-finals of the Keighley Cup after beating Sutton by 22 runs in a first-round tie at Beckfoot Lane.
Congs, buoyed by Sam Porter (32) and Tom Parker (22), were pegged back by good bowling from Micky Ruddock (4-16) and Chris Walker (2-3) and were dismissed for 101.
Sutton were 31-8 but, thanks to disciplined batting by Walker (31no), reached 79, with Jonny Teale (4-11) and Ben Hemsley (2-11) causing the early clatter of wickets.
