ADIL Rashid has been named in Yorkshire's 14-man squad for their Specsavers County Championship clash with Middlesex at Lord's starting on Monday.
England's early exit from the Champions Trophy, coupled with Rashid's omission from their T20 squad to face South Africa next week, has worked in Yorkshire's favour.
Azeem Rafiq and Karl Carver played in last week's Division One win over Somerset at Taunton but they will not travel to London.
But in-form batsman Harry Brook has been named in his first senior squad. The 18-year-old opener, formerly of Burley-in-Wharfedale, has scored white and red-ball hundreds for Yorkshire's second XI in the last ten days.
Meanwhile, overseas batsman Peter Handscomb has been called up to Australia's Test squad for their two-match series in Bangladesh in late August and early September.
Australia arrive in Bangladesh on August 18, with the second Test finishing on September 4.
Handscomb would therefore likely miss the latter stages of the NatWest T20 Blast, including Finals Day on September 2, and a home Championship match against Middlesex between September 5-8.
