GREAT Horton Park Chapel and Queensbury are to stage two of the Spenser Wilson Halifax League's cup finals.

Queensbury will host the Rod Warhurst Cup final for third teams, while Ewart Street is the setting for the Foster's Twenty20 decider.

Meanwhile, four new members of the league's executive committee have been announced.

They are assistant treasurer Chris Jones, registrations secretary Julie Pearson, disciplinary officer Graham Hughes and events officer Jack Carson.

Their positions will be confirmed at the league's next council meeting at Pellon Social Club on Tuesday, April 4 (7.45pm).

Other cup final venues – Briggs Priestley Parish Cup: Blackley; Halifax Carpet Co Crossley Shield: Upper Hopton. Romware Collinson Cup (under-11s, under-13s): Illingworth St Mary's; Romware Collinson Cup (under-15s, under-17s): Bradshaw.

In addition, as applications to stage finals were oversubscribed, the following venues were approved for 2018 – Halifax Carpet Co Crossley Shield: Illingworth St Mary's; Rod Warhurst Cup: Old Town.
