JER Lane have been handed a swift chance of revenge for their last-eight battering in the Spenser Wilson Halifax League's Parish Cup.

The Bradford side have been drawn at home to Warley in the first round of the Briggs Priestley-sponsored competition on Sunday, May 7.

The teams met in the quarter-finals last season and nine-man Jer were rolled over for just 69 in a 163-run defeat.

But the heavyweight clash between Lane, who finished third in the Premier Division in 2016, and Warley, who were runners-up, will surely not be as one-sided this time around.

There is one Bradford derby, with Great Horton Park Chapel hosting Low Moor HT, while most of the other Bradford area teams have home advantage.

Division One champions Queensbury host 2016 cup runners-up Warley, while Shelf – who have belatedly been promoted to Division One – are at home to newcomers Mount.

Top-flight Thornton entertain Division Two outfit Bradshaw, while Clayton, from the bottom tier, have a decent test at home to Bridgeholme.

Cullingworth, runners-up in Division Two, are at Premier Division side Northowram Hedge Top, while top-flight newcomers Oxenhope are at Southowram of Division One.
