Witter is ready for Bradley

Junior Witter today warned upcoming opponent Tim Bradley: I'm in the hottest form of my life.

Bradford's WBC light-welterweight champion is currently training in Gran Canaria ahead of his title defence against the American at Nottingham Arena on May 10.

Witter has not fought since September when he smashed Vivian Harris in seven rounds.

But he said: "There's still a lot more to come from me and the harder the fights, the better I perform.

"I think the Harris fight was the best of my career and it has raised the expectations. But I will deal with that when I deal with Bradley."

Witter needed surgery on a knee injury a week after the Harris victory and said: "The operation sorted the ligament problem."

Tickets for the fight, which is live on ITV, are available from the venue on 08444-124624.
