Maroons complete double

Bradford Maroons ended their season on a double high as they clinched the Leeds & District League Premier Division title and Handicap Cup.

Their 113-58 victory at Rawthorpe clinched the championship and then in their final game, a young Maroons team defeated Knaresborough 107-82 to lift the cup.

Despite a handicap format which awarded their opponents an extra point for every basket scored, the Maroons led for the whole game and were comfortable winners.
