BRADFORD NO 1 AA: There are still tickets left for the march at Knutford Lagoon on Sunday, April 27. Anyone interested should contact S Foster (01274-571175) or Wibsey Angling Centre. Kirklees Lagoon is fishing well for big tench and carp. There has also been a report of a 5lb trout at Addingham on the River Wharfe. Waters also worth a try are Broughton, Ramsgill and the gravel pit section of the River Calder for trout on spinner, fly or worm.

WASHBURN VALLEY FISHERY: The heaviest fish caught this week was a 8lb 2oz blue trout by Dennis Wilks using Montana. Fewston and Swinsty: Good access to popular areas has seen some quality fish taken. Ever-popular lures and now nymphs producing fish. Montana and Hares Ear are flies to have taken fish this week around those weeded margins. Thruscross: Buzzers and Black Penner to take proper wild fish as warmer afternoons see buzzers hatching. Austin Hunt won the troutmaster fish-off with four fish totalling 10lb 11oz.

HEWENDEN AC: Anyone wishing to renew their year book or put their name on the waiting list can do so by contacting the following people: Dave at Eccleshill Angling; Andy at Wet Nets in Keighley; John at West Park; or by writing to Mr S Webster, PO Box 62, Bingley, BD16 3WR. Note that the fishing times have now changed on our water and will be 7am until dusk (please keep noise to a minimum). There will be no changes to subscription prices this year.

LISTERHILLS AC: Members who have nominated for the National Championship are asked to pay the pools and entry money as soon as possible. Trophies can now be collected by contacting the match secretary. Members are asked to be on the look-out for fly tipping at the Pilley's Dam car park and report any suspicious activities.

UNITY AC: There have been reports of people using boilies and pellets. Both these baits are banned, so would members please read their card. Dyehouse Dam is fishing very well with small tench, crucian carp and roach.

BINGLEY AC: The next match is on the canal on Sunday, April 27. Contact Tony Greenwood (07971-428678) for bookings and further details. Provisionally, it is intended to utilise the Morton Lane to Swine Lane length.

BRADFORD CITY AA: The small lake at Staveley will be closed on Sunday for the local challenge match, which is now sold out. Meet on the lake side for an 8.30am draw.

GRATTAN AC: The club's annual meeting will be held at Fairweather Green WMC on Thursday, April 24 at 8pm.
