HEWENDEN AC

Last Sunday's pike match was fished in wet and windy conditions on the near bank but this didn't stop the piking pirates' John Duncan and Jacko taking the spoils again.

Result: 1 J Duncan 20lb 14oz (one fish on sardine), 2 Jacko 5lb 9oz (on mackerel).

Draw for this Sunday's Christmas Cheer is at 9.15am in the car park. Far bank pegs 34 to 39 producing some good pike to 16lb.

The next pike match will be on Sunday, January 6 on the far bank, draw 9am in car park.

LISTERHILLS AA

Membership books for 2008 will be available from all the usual outlets within the next ten days. Applications are also being taken for Leeds Amalgamation membership. Next year's National Championship is on the Staffordshire and Worcester Canal on August 16. Any angler interested in representing the club should contact the match secretary.

BRADFORD NO 1 AA

Cowthorpe will be closed this Sunday for our open match. Ring match secretary for tickets on 01274-571175. River levels will be high this weekend. Still waters are worth a go. Also Willow Hall, Shelf and Raskelf worth a try.

IDLE & THACKLEY AA

Open match this Sunday on the River Swale at Swainby. For bookings call 01274- 615016. Club subscriptions remain the same as last year at £15 for adults, with concessions for juniors and oaps. Books are now available from local angling shops.

KEIGHLEY AC

The next open match is on the river at Steeton on Saturday, December 15, draw on the bridge 8.45am. Ring Steve Parker on 01535-648793 to book a place.

BRADFORD CITY AA

The next match is the Geoff Scollick Cup and Christmas Cheer Match on Sunday, December 16. Tickets £12 available from match secretary on 07706-573115.
