Dave Halley, second left, bagged a hat-trick for Wibsey to put them into the second round of the Bradford & District Saturday Senior Cup
Salts booked their place in the quarter-final stages of the Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup, with Sam Waterhouse (2) and Dominic Lazenby scoring the goals in a 3-0 second-round victory over holders Campion.
In the process, Salts avenged the 2-1 defeat they suffered in the final.
West Horton pushed an experienced Thackley side all the way but after finishing level at 1-1 following extra time.
Their efforts were then fruitless as Thackley ran out 7-6 victors in the penalty shoot-out.
Salts and Thackley will be joined in the last eight by Old Headingley, who beat Calverley United 3-1, and their reserve team, who accounted for Bradford 2-0, and Field Sports & Social Club Reserves, who beat Vision 3-0.
In one of the two delayed first-round games, Dave Halley netted a treble to add to goals saw from Aaron Booth and Brendan Folan as Wibsey beat BD3 United 5-1 to book a home tie against St Bede's Old Boys.
Hunsworth had Joel Farrar and Luke Barker with braces to add to others from Lee Davey, Daniel Walding and Dale Wright as TVR United were defeated 7-1 to set up a visit to Tyersal next month.
