Wibsey were handed five league points when SSE Yorkshire Division Five visitors Adwick le Street could not raise a team.

“We lent them some players and played a friendly, which we lost 15-5, so we managed to ‘lose’ a game we won,” said Wibsey’s first-team manager Steve Brooke.
