Bradford Dragons go into this weekend’s double-header needing one win from their two games to guarantee them a quarter-final place in the National Trophy.

First up today is the long trip south to face Reading Rockets, who have a slim chance of qualification themselves – needing to win their remaining three games. Tomorrow the Dragons travel to Derby Trailblazers, who were one of only two teams they failed to chalk up a win against last season.

Their roster has a very different look to it for this campaign, with last year’s star guard Rishi Kakad having moved to Italy to play for Hydrotherm Casorate, while David Attewell has retired and centre Troy Whittington has returned to America.

The quarter-finals are set to take place on Sunday, January 13.
