Horsfall tribute to Bradford Park Avenue legend Suddards

The ashes of former Bradford Park Avenue player Jeff Suddards will be scattered at Park Avenue’s ground at Horsfall Stadium on Sunday.

Suddards, who died at his home in Fakenham, Norfolk, on August 28, aged 83, made 327 league appearances during a ten-year career at Park Avenue.

The ashes scattering ceremony will take place at noon and widow Beryl said: “Anyone who wants to come will be welcome. Quite a few people couldn’t attend the funeral and it would be nice to see them there on Sunday.”

Maybe a 'handful' could be retained and placed on the old ground when access is available next year.
