Two-try Rory Brooke a key man for Queensbury B

Queensbury B got back to winning ways with victory against a strong Greetland All Rounders team in Division Seven of the Pennine League.

Rory Brooke produced a lovely offload which ended with Scott Ratcliffe going in under the sticks to open the scoring.

Luke Pearson’s one-handed offload then sent Brooke in at the corner, before hooker Dave Wilkinson scooted over from 30 metres.

Brooke took a tap penalty and ran clean through the defence to score the final try of the first half.

Greetland emerged to pull back a couple of tries but Queensbury responded well with further scores from Liam Ruff and Andrew Barraclough.
