Unbeaten season for Nino Esposito

Nino Esposito completed a remarkable unbeaten season in two league competitions after switching clubs to join Ladyhill and Clayton after many years at Lister Park.

One of Bradford’s most respected bowlers had not always fulfilled his potential at the top level and decided it was time for a change.

Bowling for Clayton B in the Saturday League, Esposito won all 18 of his games in the Bartle section to finish with an average of 8.50.

He unfortunately finished second in the division’s averages and so failed to qualify for the Victor Ludorum Merit (Champion of Champions).

Esposito also played for Ladyhill A in the Half Holiday League and won all 16 games, again finishing second in the averages with a 8.94 record.

He also made one appearance for Clayton A in the Monday Evening League and won his only game 21-9.
