A domestic Keybury League dust-up between Scholemoor under-11s teams saw the Tigers get the better of the Lions 5-2.

Goalkeepers Kyle Russell (Tigers) and Ethan Meadowcroft (Lions) produced man of the match displays as the Tigers continued their unbeaten start to the season.

Goals from J-lee Browne and Josh Allen earned the Tigers a 2-0 interval lead and it became 4-0 as Lucy Payton and Omar Anjum scored.

The Lions responded through Aneeq Butt and Imahl Williamson but Ellis Powell had the final say for the Tigers.

Scholemoor’s under-tens were 4-1 winners against Eldwick, with the goals shared by Brandon Patterson, Harrison Williams, Jordan Harrison and a first in the league for Harry Davies.

Ben Cockcroft and man of the match Alfie Turner both scored hat-tricks as Baildon Dynamos under-sevens beat Silsden Dragons 7-0.

Connor Holmes and Hamish McCallum were strong in defence, with captain Lyndon Bateson also performing well and Max Paterson keeping a clean sheet.

Baildon’s under-tens were only just behind in the scoring stakes as a 6-0 result at Leeds Maccabi gave them a third straight victory.

Louis Anderson, Harvey Weston-Beyer, Louis Turner, Charlie Menzies and man of the match Will Robinson were among the goals, with Nathan Hayward their defiant keeper.

Sohail Mahmood struck a magnificent seven goals as Albion Sports under-eights continued their fine start to the season with a 12-4 victory at Westwood Jets.

Casey Breaks added a hat-trick and there were also goals for Raushan Sandhu and Kieran McGinley, who impressed on his debut, while Gavan Singh Malhi was named man of the match.

Dudley Hill Rangers under-nines had to be patient before continuing their impressive start to the season with a 3-0 win at Thackley Storm.

The host goalkeeper was equal to everything thrown at him in the first half but Spencer Dunk finally broke the deadlock with a double strike and Harry Norton rounded off the scoring.

Bradford Park Avenue under-15s surrendered their 100 per cent Craven League record as Nab Wood earned a 4-4 draw.

Man of the match Kenny Tafireyi (2) and Landon Smith earned Avenue a 3-0 interval lead, with keeper Connor Briscoe also in fine form.

But Nab Wood stormed back to level the scores and although Tafireyi then completed his hat-trick, a late fourth goal by the visitors ensured honours finished even.

Avenue under-14s were edged out 7-5 against leaders Thornton United.

Oliver Raistrick’s hat-trick was ultimately in vain, while man of the match Daniel Isaacs and James Frazer added their first goals of the season.

Avenue’s under-14 B team notched their first away win as four-goal man of the match Aiden McLoughlin set up a 7-1 outcome at Salts Panthers. Geremy India (2) and Callum Surtees completed the tally.

Avenue’s under-18s finished their preliminary games with a 6-2 defeat against Oakworth, with man of the match Lewis Dickinson bagging both consolations.

Oakworth under-16s were lucky to be 1-0 up at half-time against lower-division challengers Myrtle Park Wanderers in the Craven League Cup.

But a second goal ended Park’s resistance and it finished 4-0. Man of the match was Jordan Baxter as he and his fellow defenders performed well.

Charlie Smith marked his return to the Wyke Wanderers under-11s side with four goals in a 9-1 Huddersfield League romp against Skelmanthorpe B.

Josh Grant and Noel Jones added two apiece, with man of the match Luke Delahunty completing the tally as Wyke won their second game on the bounce.

Jacob Smith netted twice as Wyke Wanderers under-nines returned to winning form 5-3 at Dalton Dynamoes.

Stan Cahill, Reuben Davis and Ranganai Muza also hit the target and the scoreline could have been even higher had it not been for some great goalkeeping.

The Wanderers B team followed up with a 4-0 win courtesy of Logan Jean-Jacques, Loui Cook, Muza and a Matthew Leaper corner that was knocked in for an own goal.

Wyke Wanderers under-12s advanced to the second round of the West Riding County Cup with a comfortable 7-0 win at Wortley.

Atta Rehman and Harry Holmes earned a 2-0 interval advantage and they both doubled their tally in the second half. Ben King also netted twice and Dylan Silson was on target as well.
